OPES PTO Item Borrowing

Need to borrow PTO décor, supplies, equipment, or event materials? Start here.

PTO-owned items may be available for approved school, PTO, and limited community use, subject to availability and advance approval.

Eligibility

• Priority is given to PTO-sponsored and school-related events.
• Requests for non-school use may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• All borrowing must be approved in advance by the OPES PTO.

Request Process

1. Complete the PTO Borrow Request Form.
2. Include the items requested, intended use, pickup date, and return date.
3. Wait for approval before making plans to use the items.

Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. You will be contacted after the request has been reviewed.

Borrowing Terms

Pickup & Return

• Items must be picked up and returned on the approved dates.
• Borrowers are responsible for coordinating pickup and return with the PTO.
• Items must be returned clean, organized, and in the same condition as received.

Care of Items

• All items remain the property of OPES PTO.
• The borrower is responsible for the items during the borrowing period.
• Items may not be altered, loaned to another person, or used for an unapproved purpose.

Lost or Damaged Items

The borrower assumes responsibility for all items during the approved borrowing period. Lost, stolen, or damaged items may need to be replaced or reimbursed at the discretion of the PTO. Failure to return items or address damage may affect eligibility for future borrowing.

Availability & Limitations

Availability depends on current PTO and school needs.

Higher-value equipment, electronics, and certain specialty items may have additional restrictions or may not be available for outside use. The PTO reserves the right to decline any request.
