OPES PTO Item Borrowing
The OPES PTO maintains a variety of items including event décor, supplies, equipment, and materials for use at school events. These items may be made available for borrowing under the following guidelines.
Eligibility
Priority is given to PTO-sponsored and school-related events.
Requests for non-school use may be approved on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the PTO Board.
All borrowing must be approved in advance by the PTO.
Request Process
All borrowing requests must be submitted through the PTO Borrow Request Form.
Requests must include a detailed list of the items being requested, along with the intended use and timeline.
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. Borrowers will be notified once their request has been reviewed.

Borrowing Terms
Items must be picked up and returned on the agreed-upon dates.
All items must be returned clean, organized, and in the same condition as received.
Borrowers are responsible for coordinating pickup and return with the PTO.
All items remain the property of OPES PTO.
Responsibility for Items
The borrower assumes full responsibility for all items during the borrowing period.
Any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged must be replaced or reimbursed at the discretion of the PTO.
Failure to return items or replace damaged items may impact eligibility for future borrowing.
Limitations
Availability of items may be limited based on PTO and school needs.
Certain items, including higher-value equipment or electronics, may have additional restrictions or may not be available for external use.
The PTO reserves the right to decline any request at its discretion.

We’re happy to share PTO resources when possible and appreciate your help in returning items promptly and in excellent condition so they may continue to benefit our school community.
